Some of the answers were indeed condescending and unconvincing for the 55 owners who attended in person or on zoom.

The inability to know if there is a net profit on rentals makes certain people look foolish and clueless, but that didn't come as a surprise.

Just got an update from companies house and it was interesting to note this resignation in last few days.

This opens up an opportunity for an owner who cares about the club to join committee.

We started to charge the renters for electricity from end of Dec 2024 as a levy.

So how or by what method did the club calculate the charge for electricity up until this point for renters if there was no levy or allocated monies?

Yes, but not all deficits are considered bad in business accounting especially around property.

It could be due to investment in property.

A deficit may be worse for an individual if they only have one income and can't cover monthly costs.
