Re: New Webpage
The "new" web page is an improvement on it's predecessor but we do seem to have lost some functionality on the webcams EG zooming and screen capture.

Remove Google Drive
Community forum - Google Drive
10/20/2021 - Go to Task Manager and locate "Google Drive" background processes there, followed by removing them via "End Task" one by one. Then uninstall the program again.
It worked for me.

I don't know what's going on here. This "document" is totally unreadable. The link encouraged me to download Google Drive and now it seems to be everywhere and I can't uninstall it because the PC keeps telling me that Drive is in use.

First of all- apologies for not replying sooner. I had log-in problems.
I agree with everything Mr. Robertson has said even though I believe “In Perpetuity” is a toothless, paper tiger ( If management stick to the Constitution/Articles of Association, amongst other thinking!)

Twice today, I have watched people, on the club's webcam, on the "PUBLIC" Loch beach. I have no idea who these people are/were but this club is in serious danger of being cleaned out in the law courts.

The hotel doesn't need to be involved. I have no expertise on this kind of thing but I can see a way forward and it cannot be beyond the wit of our management to find the solution IF THE DESIRE IS THERE!!!. Brewery. Organise. P..s up. couldn't?????

It must be a very difficult technical problem to move a web cam through 5 degrees. 6 weeks now and more intrusion tonight including people playing in the loch. Perverts/ paedos delight.

I don't think any member is arguing about the desirability to have these facilities. Just the method of financing them. Later on in the year, you can tell us how many winter visitors use the pool!!

Re: 2022 Fees
We think "The Club" should pay a nominal fee to the hotel to secure the rights to use the complex and to entitle those who wish to, to purchase a weekly pass. A levy on all members of £5 per week would raise approx £20.000. Those of us who never will use the facilities are subsidising the hotel.

Re: EV charging point installation
Hiya. I agree that's a bit OTT for Loch Rannoch but it will not be long before every lodge is occupied by someone needing an EV charging point and the existing infrastructure will not cope. For my vehicle, just to get to Pitlochry and back would need approx 15 kWh. 2 hours on the club EV points. At ...

Web Cam on website.
I have been visiting these webcams for quite a while now and do enjoy them. The human eye is drawn to movement and I have just noticed, for the first time ever, the residents of Lochside 7 enjoying their balcony. I think a realignment might be required.

Re: EV charging point installation
These 2 chargers are available for members. We used them last October for free. I WAS surprised that they were free but am equally surprised at this exorbitant cost. My E-Niro has a 64kW battery and putting in 50% (32kw)(140 miles-ish) at these charge points would take nearly 5 hours and cost approx ...

It seems to me that the last 6 posts here confirm my opinion that we are a rudderless ship. We are all, mostly anyway, individual little islands without external communications. A knowledgeable figurehead is required to provide a steady hand on the tiller. Eventually even a juggernaut will change ...

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Atkinson. Seems like good news. We have no children . We bought in 1994 for £2000 sight unseen because we knew Loch Rannoch area quite well and were never upset by our purchase. It is a feature of the Timeshare model that the "have not's" support the "haves" in terms of seasonal facilities. Just as a "for instance", in week 41 we are severely restricted for hill walking without risk of being shot instead of a stag. The upside of this is we don't have midgies!! Similar, with ...
