Term ownership

The LRHC office is now , quite properly, contacting all Term owners who are in the last year of their contract to establish if they will be renewing a contract for another Term.
The response from me was a definite negative as I am very dissatisfied with the way that Term owners have been treated in the last year. All voting rights have been revoked, the right to sit on Committee revoked and even the right to simply attend an AGM revoked. .
The only reason given for this was that Term owners allegedly do not have the long term interests of the club in mind .
No supporting evidence for this bold assertion has ever been produced and the reason given has no credibility whatsoever.
This can easily be construed as a breach of the Equality Act 2010 ( Goods and services) and if any owner were to pursue this angle then it could cost the club ( and owners) dearly.
In short it was totally unnecessary, unfair, divisive and unexplained, unless I’ve missed something.
Just as importantly, this blatant discrimination against a number of club owners does not encourage any existing Term owners to sign up to a new Term but that is obviously an individual choice.
I suspect that most Term owners will check out, and will never return to LRHC.
