I believe that the Unofficial Forum is to be once again reinstated.
This is good news for all owners and also those who have a love and a great affinity for LRHC and the surrounding area.

This forum was the catalyst for existing and previous committee members to volunteer their services.
Some have proved successful, others not so.

It will also allow for those on the forum to discuss issues which may not necessarily be too popular on the Club's own official forum due to more transparency.
Because of this forum previously much needed change did happen and can happen again despite much resistance from those who may have something to hide or have own agendas which are not beneficial for the club or its owners.

That’s interesting. The return of the UF can only be for the good and of course is open to non owners at the club unless there’s to be a change. It allows others with connections to the club to have an opinion.
How will we know when its live again ?

 Again I am led to understand that once it is up and running details can and will be posted on this forum.
You are bang on when you make comment about opinions.

There has been so much important factual information posted on that forum previously which has led to important change.

Yes the original Owner's Forum was great, and when opened up to wider participants it was helpful to read their perspective on the Club or Rannoch Area! John Hurst's input was also invaluable at that time helping to remove that truly awful Committee Chairperson and some of the other dreadful Committee members, but unfortunately they were not all rooted out!
I have the names of an earlier Chairman carved into my brain, a truly awful chap, and I most certainly wouldn't want him anywhere near the 'Chairman's Post' although I had heard on the grapevine he had been champing at the bit to get his snout back into the Hay bag! He was so egotistical, thought LRHC was his own personal Fiefdom and ran it accordingly, wasting Thousands and Thousands of the Club's/Owners' Money on his Pet Projects which could and should have been used for Refurbishments!
If you hear anything about the Original Forum Stuart, do let me know as I think it was more user friendly, ok it was pretty basic, but it did the job, and you didn't have to drill down to try and find other owner's postings/comments. Bonus was more nervous Owners opened up about how they really felt or knew about the Club.

Apparently it was reopened 7 weeks ago! Funny but I didn't see any notification to owners about that?
I'd urge ALL owners to Register at :-www.lochrannochhighlandclub.net and join in the debates; post your own ideas or opinions on the club or how you think it's being run. Perhaps you might like to tell other Owners of a enjoyable walking route; nice place you've found for lunch or perhaps Dinner Venue in fact anything you would like to share, as the Original owner's forum is much more user friendly, so come and join us!

I have just been advised the Unofficial Forum has had some compatibility issues and was requiring updates which has resulted in a new website - lrforum.co.uk.
When you log on to the original forum you will be redirected to new forum which will enable registration which I have just completed myself.

I had same screen when I first joined.
I think if during the night there must be a delay on registration.
It was fine later in morning.

lrforum.co.uk - Is this the correct address?
I ask as the Land Rover Forum is almost the same - lrforum.com and every time I type in lrforum.co.uk inevitably I am sent straight to Land Rover Forum! I think the webmaster has to have a rethink as sooner than later Land Rover will say he attempting to steal/corrupt their long held email address!
If you are on that Forum Stuart could you contact Webmaster and say I was suddenly locked out of Owners Forum so can't aim access to latest lrforumco.I'm via that route and when I try direct route I go directly to Land River's Forum - lrforum.co.uk

The U.F. remains inaccessible to me Ronnie so I’ll now wait until I learn that the I.T. issue has been resolved
